I love it when the weather starts turning cool in the fall. It's the first feel of the Holidays, when a cool breeze blows in on a cloudy day and the leaves start dropping from the trees and dancing on the grass. It's that first notion that the hot days of summer are over and the time for warm coats and gloves is moving in. It means fun times with family and friends, lots of cups of hot coffee or cocoa (or lattes!), and pulling out Castle Risk or Clue. And who can forgot the Garfield Christmas Special! I promise I saw the real-life version of the grandmother from that show in the clinic where I work today. She had the same light hair, dark lipstick, and talked with the same Pennsylvania accent. I fully expected Garfield and Odie to run around the corner, and to see Jon and his brother plugging in the Christmas tree and saying "Oooooooooooooh." Ah, the cool days of the season are here....
